First of all, I think the Doc is doing a wonderful job,
and i have no aspiration to contest supremacy.

My goal was to make a contribution, as a ~local.
I'm still trying to comprehend how public documents could be copyrighted,
but this is the 21st century...

I have had some luck doing text extract from pdf's
using
ghostscript and the corresponding GSview programs,
when acrobat was unwilling to allow such.

Did fly out of SFO on a non-UA carrier,
and noticed that Samsung had also hung a banner ad
"Samsung, a part of San Francisco"
over the passenger walkway entrance to the parking garage,
just as they had done over at the UA terminal.

So, for some reason, they went to the trouble to target this message
to the folks who are parking in the short-term (most expensive) SFO lot.
I didn't see corresponding signs in MSP or in SAN airports.

So, are these random actions of marketeers, or what?
Obviously someone at Samsung thought it was worth some bucks
to send this message to folks who live in the bay area and fly in/out of SFO.
I tend to see these at the end of weary business trip days, on the way home.
They are not placed so that the tourists would see them.
I find this specific targeting very unusual.
Were these bought in anticipation of the guilty plea at DOJ?

In the absence of better insight,
LOLo
