First of all, those downgrades dont really mean that much. I dont know any investor that invests based on those opinions.

Second, I SERIOUSLY doubt that apple and google are going to even try to acquire SIRI from Liberty who just got them. They'd have pay upwards of 10 dollars a share to Liberty. Note that those 10 dollars per share wouldnt benefit us because it would be a straight tender offer to Liberty.

Third, even if apple or google did decide to acquire SIRI, it wouldnt drive the pps up thru a bidding war as theyd only directly trade with Liberty. Theres no point in trying to acquire a minority position when they could just go straight after Libertys shares and be done with it.

Fourth, Im not so sure Id want to be acquired by apple or google. They both are known for very distinctive products, and I wouldnt want to be such a minority subdivision. Liberty, on the other hand, has become very much known for SIRI, so there is less risk of a selloff.

Just my opinion.
