VRNG will not reply until Monday, May 20th, IMO, and probably a late filing at that. You can't just read through the Memorandum in Support of Opposition Motion and say, That's BS. The points brought up by GOOG MUST be addressed.

The representation that GOOG has already implemented a complete work around on May 11th alone will toll on the PPS tomorrow. How much? We'll see tomorrow,

I just had a chance to do a quick read, but unlike some I can't say that I'm unimpressed. Going to have to read some more of the cases cited in their response, but I do think there will be a negative market reaction tomorrow, and possibly a significant one, unfortunately.

These law firms are getting paid millions and millions of dollars to represent their clients. I DO expect a very good response from VRNG, and I do not expect that to be a hasty one in any way. They have until next Monday, and my money says you will see no response from them until next Monday.

I will post more tomorrow. I really need time to read the response through in detail before really formulating any thoughts on it. I WILL comment that the fact that VRNG isn't able to impose injunctive relief against the Defendants in order to increase its bargaining position post verdict appears to be a pretty good argument against super sizing the RR. That's a point that kind of hit me in a quick read.

Anyway, just a quick knee jerk response. Again, I expect VRNG's counsel to earn their keep and come back with a very good response. In the meanwhile, the PPS will take a hit, IMO, and I think more than I personally anticipated. Tomorrow will tell the short term tale. VRNG still has the last word on the subject.

On a happier note, no request for oral argument by GOOG. Let's see if VRNG requests one.
