The FDA has just approved a combo Lipitor /Zetia ( Atorvastatin and Ezetimibe ) ----developed by Merck --goes on sale next week .
Outcome trial data for Zetia is due out I think in 3rd qt 2014
What would be the time line of a Lipitor /Vascepa combo ..ie how long to market .

I'd be interested in your comments , also JL's ,Ajax , Chab any anyone with knowledge in the field.
Generally I believe combo pills can be big sellers because of higher compliance ---Ultimate trial -and probably less expensive then buying the pills separately if theres no co pay

I'm on Crestor and Zetia ( plus EPA ) and may give this new combo pill a try . Of course my dream drug might be a Lipior /Zetia/Vascepa combo

Anyway I would be interested in the thoughts of the board as to the Lipitor /Vascepa time line and how Merck would work this with Amarin.
