Congratulations are in order as to your new position----
I am not sure I know all ,,or any for that matter, of the duties required of a Moderator---
But, last night I was mulling some ideas about WDDD, ATVI and their future together---so I thought I'ld post it and let some of you Mods and posters chime in with comments--
ATVI has a 16+ Billion dollar mkt cap at present---world wide mkt activity---and multiple strong revenue streams---not exactly a kid in knickers , as compared to WDDD--who has no revenue stream or streams,, but, they do have a bushel basket full of unique and valuable patents---
Of which ATVI and a multiple of others have blatantly accessed and used, infringed upon, without so much as a "howdy do--thankyou very much" as they paraded to the bank with all their revenues--
So, we have a lawsuit from a .45 cent pps company against a $14+ pps company with monstrous assets and cash to hire the best and blow this kid off the streets---
But on closer looksee---45 cent Plantiff has an arsenal of firepower and a Howitzer legal staff in place---Defendent, with all their size, revenues and firepower have put up a rather lackluster and unimaginative defense thus far---
Pre Markman is winding down and the Markman hearing is drawing nigh--and no meaningful activity on either part---
IMHO ---This is a laydown---WDDD will walk into and thru the MARKMAN and come out a substantial winner---announcing to the mkt place of other infringers---BEWARE
There will be a lot of activity post Markman as compared to Pre Markman by both companies---nothing of import occurrs---the Trial is important here---Almost immediately into the trial ATVI realizes it has no chance and capitulates---the sides adjorn for the settlements and punishment evaluations---figures are eventually established and accepted by both parties---
Susman "pockets" their contingency amount and ATVI acquires WDDD for cash and stock !!!!!!!!
World becomes a wholly owned subsidiary to ATVI,, and has all the revenue streams and fire power needed to go after the other infringers with lawsuits and Licensing Agreements,,,and ATVI becomes even more of a GIANT.
And in the year 2025 ,, after most of the juiced has been squeezed from the infringers, ATVI spins off their wholly owned subsidiary WDDD for who knows how much per share----to perhaps a mutual fund---
