We lost the war of opinion the day the Abu Gharib torture photos were discovered.

The US Government could have used the same money to place legit ads in these Iraqi publications and still maintain the mantra that Iraq is operating with a free press (part of a 'democracy' remember?).

But no, it's all about being secret, and hiding the true meaning of everything.

Unfortunately for these morons, they always get caught.

But of course you blame the media. It's not the fact that we are 'preaching' democracy, while we undermine it at the same time that pisses you off, its the fact that they got caught that upsets you. Just as I'm sure you are pissed at Seymore Hersch for exposing Abu Gharib. Just as I'm sure your pissed that the 11 year old child we have imprisoned at Gitmo is getting to talk to a lawyer.
