"Virtra's competition doesn't want to demonstrate their new products at the show in fear that they won't work and hurt their sales. It is better off for them to have a bare bones system setup at their location and sell it to clients and deliver the add on accessories later with a huge maintenance agreement that will cost more than the simulator itself since they know many break downs will occur. Since Virtra's system is reliable they can demonstate it at any trade show."
