Giant Snowy Mitten
Prep Time: 40 min (Ready in 1 hr 10 min )
Makes: 8 servings Nutrition Information

Special Touch When it comes to decorating this big mitten cookie, colored frosting is just the beginning. Edible glitter, assorted sprinkles and candy toppings of all kinds are also great ways to add fun and flair.

1/2 (18-oz.) roll Pillsbury® Refrigerated Sugar Cookies
1 cup vanilla ready-to-spread frosting (from 16-oz. can)
Green, red and blue food color

1. Place cookie dough in freezer for 30 minutes or until very firm.
2. Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Cut cookie dough into 16 slices. Arrange 15 slices, 1/4 inch apart, in shape of mitten on paper-lined cookie sheet. (See diagram.) Roll remaining slice of dough into log; place on side of mitten. Flatten to form oblong shape for thumb.
3. Bake at 350°F. for 8 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Remove parchment paper with cookie from cookie sheet. Cool 15 minutes or until completely cooled. Remove cookie from paper.
4. Meanwhile, reserve 1/2 cup frosting to spread over cookie. Divide remaining 1/2 cup frosting into thirds; place in 3 small bowls. Add different food color to each bowl; blend well. Place each colored frosting in small resealable food storage plastic bag. Cut small hole in bottom corner of each bag.
5. Spread reserved white frosting evenly over cooled cookie. Pipe colored frostings into decorative pattern on mitten. To serve, cut cookie into pieces.
