Mschere and witchhollow...re contracts administrator (IDCC Job opening)

The first part of the job description..."Prepare, revise, review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, vendor and consulting agreements." refers to "contracts formation", the developing, biding (when required), negotiating, conforming, and awarding of contracts.

A contracts administrator might be defined as someone who assures that duties and obligations of all parties to a contract are fully discharged. Ensures the work is performed as specified by the contract, the provisions of the contract are adhered to, proper documentation is maintained, and changes are properly addressed and incorporated into the contract. Monitors activities and performance while actively interfacing with all departments and disciplines who have a role in the process.

Hence, formation activities occur prior to and including contract award. Administration takes place immediately after contract award and ends at contract close out.

I'm happy to see that they need to mobilize additional staff to form future contracts and subsequently administer them.
