You don't lose anything until you sell. I've been -75% on stocks before that bounce and actually turned a profit.

You have only yourself to blame for being a weak hand and selling at the absolute bottom, so don't come in here spreading doom and gloom just to try to justify your decision, which was a terrible one and something any pro trader would have never done.

You need to stop trading just like you said you would, now that you sold for a loss, there is nothing keeping you here. Except maybe a failed attempt at self satisfaction, which I am positive is the case.
