this may very well open down, but i assure it would have nothing to do with the formt.

you cleary have no idea how market work, let me help you:

Go and take a look at AAPL

Ok, your back now? good.

Did you notice that apples daily chart has two greyed areas to the left and to the right -- each with "Pre" & "After" written inside them...???

Well, that indicates trades that happened during afterhours.

Now look at the bmsn chart: do you see those same greyed out areas..?
