Yes they are.
Diebold is headquartered in Canton, Ohio, the northern and eastern section of the state, just south of Akron along I-77.
NCR is a Dayton, Ohio corporation, and is well known for cash registers. They also make ATM machines and if memory serves me, they and Diebold at one time about a decade ago had some kind of relationship going in the ATM field.
Ohio is the "safe capital" of America because there are more safe and bank equipment companies in it than any other.
