No evidence of halted trading that I can find. Can you please post a link indicating as such? FWIW, I have been in a few stocks in which a bid-ask standoff takes several hours and sometimes days to break. Without information one way or the other, I cannot comment on that other stock.

However, BMSN, as far as I can tell, passes the "legitimacy" test based on several real interdependencies. Yes, even Enron had traceable business realia ships. So, there is always a chance. Of course, that is true for all stocks. So, I think you just have to throw it in the risk bucket.
