Tkc---There are about one billion TPMs on machines with an activation rate of under 1%. The ludicrousness of the chronic complaining about Steven Sprague and his management team is that if somehow they had been replaced by a different cast of players it would have translated into something like 25% or 10% or 5% activation rates. That is nutty.
Without Steven Sprague and his team, including the BoD, Wave would have disappeared years ago!
Trusted Computing is a world wide SECURITY STANDARDS PLAY requiring a large number of heavyweight OEMs to temporarily snuff out their predatory postures and behaviors in order to replace and radically revamp a broken security system with a functional one. Wave is NOT responsible for the SLOG, the burden of responsibility has always been on the shoulders of the many mega OEMs of TCG to finally get their act together!
Windows 8 is a clarion call that the world wide SECURITY STANDARDS PLAY has officially begun. Unplug your ears!
Let' wait for the TPM activation rates to begin occurring in significant numbers. If Wave isn't involved in a significant percentage of those activations, then you have a right to chronically complain. Until then I think you should.........be nice and sweet and patient just like me.
