Maybe the overall salary is just too much for someone who has brought no value back for shareholders. Maybe a 200K salary with options that can get as high as she likes based on moving the company forward. For LM to be guaranteed 500K with no incentives is beyond imagination. Most CEO's have incentives tied to compensation. If LM helped to appreciate shareholder value she should benefit as well. Her current depreciation shouldn't give her a salary that is 20% of the company value.
As long as NEOM exist why would she take another job, there is no accountability for her lack of performance.
