The reality of the situation is that FINRA is not currently imposing sanctions or disciplining MIKP. The SEC investigation brought on the SEC suspension. FINRA did not impose the 10 day self-terminating suspension, the SEC did.

Link to Finra's sanction guidelines (about the manner in which Finra disciplines companies depending on a number of factors). Reading pages 1-9 should help clarify the reality of the situation concerning MIKP.
