Yeah, pennies can get a bit crazy. It's like compressed time. A week in a penny stock is like going through a month of the chart with a big company.

A lot of the companies at this level are awful ideas or failing companies. Those types often fall into a flavor of the week mode where promotion groups push them, the price goes way up for a few days, and then falls back quickly. You can make money by flipping these if you get in early, but they're risky.

But some are new companies or fledgling companies that are finding a new direction. For example, there are a few medical marijuana companies that are new that are doing well. BMSN, and some other biotechs, fall into the second category. Stem cells got a bad rap in the 2000's but are starting to gain traction now. In BMSN's case, they formed a new subsidiary company last spring, Regen BioPharma. That's their new vision and the company we're rooting for here.
