Fly ash is plentiful, with few good uses. One of the scam companies related to SRCH is Royal Mines and Minerals (RYMM), and they have a proprietary process to remove gold from fly ash (not that anybody can prove there is any gold in fly ash to begin with!) RYMM's metallurgist, Bob Gunnison, was one of the originators of the scam involving the slag pile at Clarkdale. He sold out of the slag deal (although I think they are still making payments to him), and is now working his charms with fly ash at RYMM. For a person convicted of securities fraud, he seems to have pretty good staying power in the "gold business".

Another related scam is Ireland, Inc. (IRLD), which is run by Douglas Birnie and Robert McDougal. McDougal is also a director of SRCH and apparently thought he could start his own gig with the knowledge he obtained by watching the pros at SRCH. Ireland's claim to fame is their gold deposit in a Nevada lake bed, pretty much the last place in Nevada you'd expect to find gold.

So, between fly ash, copper smelter slag, and lake bed clays, you have three, very unlikely places for gold that eager investors have bought into. However, IRLD and RYMM seem to be on their last legs. SRCH is still going, but with the big drop in stock price in the last month or two (almost 50% down), one has to wonder if they are running out of new investors.

Eagerly awaiting SRCH's Annual Report......!!
