Mangos Restaurant currently in 7 lawsuits!

And possibly more!

11th Circuit Court:
Case No. 11-cv-10105-JLK

Case No. 12-cv-10094-JLK

Case No. 13-cv-10019-KMM
Case No. 13-cv-10056-KMM
Case No. 13-cv-10057-KMM
Case No. 13-cv-10058-KMM

Case No. 13-cv-10055-JEM

In the first case, the motion was made to allow the plaintiff to sue based upon his claim and other cases (fair labor). The others followed in response. There will probably be more than 7 before the 31st.

In accordance with the procedure outlined above, the Court now sets a schedule for discovery on the issue of whether the conditionally certified class is similarly situated, and a briefing schedule for Defendants' potential Motion for decertification, should they choose to file such a motion.
Therefore, the following is ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED :
1. Parties will complete all discovery on the issue of whether the members of the conditionally certified class are similarly situated by May 31, 2013.
2. At the close of discovery, Defendants will have twenty (20) days to move, if they so select, to decertify the conditional class.
Plaintiffs will then have twenty (20) days to respond to Defendants' motion, should the Defendants choose to file such a motion.
4. Defendants will then have ten (10) days thereafter to reply.

DONE and ORDERED in chambers at the James Lawrence King Federal Justice Building and United States District Courthouse, Miami, Florida this 25th day of January, 2013

IMO, even if this scam of a deal went through, nothing could happen until all this lawsuit stuff was settled.
That could be up to 50 days or more after May 31st according to the court documents!
Whoops!
