question for board. hope yall can help. kinda explain the situation first. i bot spy weekly options friday amc trying to make a few bucks but didnt get my sell off before spy options closed. so i had spy 155 calls itm. these auto executed. i closed acct friday and didnt see this. so my question is on these auto execs can you turn around and sell stock the day of opex or do you have to wait till following monday to sell? what if the stock was at 155 plus on friday close then it auto exec then was at 154 on monday? would this still be executed for me to buy at 155? kinda lost this morning as i havent ever let an itm option expire without closing and i logged into acct with $45k plus worth of spy this morning!
