I see a 9.00/hr minimum wage being a good thing right now for many reasons...Getting people "off the dole" is one of the biggest...In the short term, there will be some additional unemployment...In the long term there will be much more employment...Most of those jobs cannot be exported, and all companies will have to pay the same minimum wage. The extra money will go into the economy immediately, and it will cut down on people collecting welfare, etc in the long term...
