Anything is possible

On the surface that technology looks pretty strong, so yes I’d say that we might be playing in the same space. Perhaps on the next call without getting too technical they could address the Liquid Crystal competition question, Turpin spoke about LCD technology on the SLM’s I don’t know if it is the same. Off the cuff and not knowing anything about it, my first question would be, how does it handle temperature changes, hot, warm and cold, that could be its Achilles heel?
“According to Mr. Turpin, a recognized expert in optical computing for over 40-years including important work at Essex Corporation and the National Security Agency (NSA), "The progress of Optical Computing has been limited by legacy Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) technology which while effective, can only refresh at 10 to 30 millisecond intervals. Because of the extremely fast response time of Lightwave Logic's organic nonlinear optical materials are in the range of a picoseconds (one-billionth of a second versus LCD at 10 to 30-thousands of a second), improvement in performance could be a billion-fold."”

The way that I look at this is there are many markets, many devices and many requirements, as Dave Eaton once told us there isn’t a single answer to every device. As Lightwave moves forward we’ll see this play out as they adapt to requests. Honestly now it is apparent that although we all thought they had hammered out the issues with Perkinamine years ago, the problem with consistency apparently prevented them from being taken seriously. We finally have the lab and testing in our control we’ve meet the requirements for the LSS (unless they move the goal post) and from here on out it will be easier for the lab cats to see how changing one thing affects another and they can do it much faster. The current focus is on the Long haul modulator and an SLM. We all heard this at the Shareholders meeting and now we are seeing that business plan unfold. I’d guess that is what Z will talk about on the call.
