They said the fee was for the reverse split. I asked if this was in the original agreement that we had. She said "no", it was a fee that had been added on and I had been notified months ago.
I have a fair number of trades with them. She told me that they would waive the fee this time, but be aware of it for the future.
No harm in asking, they might waive it for you, depending on your broker and maybe depending on the number of trades per year.
Mine was a little over $ 17.00
