Yes, I have viewed this video before. To my knowledge, Kroplin has never claimed stratospheric flight. Why would he pass up the obvious PR opportunities this NASA connection would yield? If Glenn can buy the miniaturized concept, a small R and D amount could get us operating in the stratosphere rather shortly IMO. It would be daylight only and a scale model on the first spiral of course. Then, as I have said before, scale the vehicle up at the same time you scale the payload size down. When they cross you have a prototype. But I personally don't think Kroplin has been there. JMO. IndyJonesOhio
