I think tykes said on his site suretrader only requires $2/share when you're shorting, too.. I just looked at his site, and apparently he's saying no PDT rule at all since they're not stateside

There IS some kind of thing about an illiquidity rule suretrader has (I'm not sure who they clear through) and I'd be interested to know if anyone has had any problems with that .... it sounds like it can result in some pretty big fees
