They aren't going to rush out a PR just because everyone wants one. They are going to take their time putting together a solid PR for a big announcement like this. It's likely they may announce more than just their FDA verdict as well.

Also we don't know exactly when the FDA received the application. Everything is just everyone's guess. They may not have even received the app until the 10th? 11th? If they sent the application by mail, then the 30 days certainly doesn't begin with the 5th, or even the 7th for that matter.
