My three year old daughter wears a Hello Kitty slap bracelet. Apple has always been about affluence - just look the interior design at the Apple store. They could do the whole Walmart layout at a reduced price, but why? Or look at the Otter Box cases that leave a hole in the back so everyone can see the Apple Logo. Apple consumers want to feel posh.
