Just kidding. Apple should have looked at IDCC before settling with NOK (biggest bang for the buck). However, we are not privy to what they paid NOK (thought I heard 1 or 2 billion and ongoing royalties) and we don't know what IDCC is demanding for a buyout and hence cannot say what makes the most business sense for Apple.
