So I was reading the pondering primate article and he was talking about semacode developing a barcode which allows you to embed a url into it. Isn't this essentially what NEOM IP is? Has anyone done any dd on this. Because NEOM is protected based on the way they decode the information embedded in a upc, but I suspect someone could write a different algorith especially if they use a new type of barcode.
I suppose the flip side to that is that they'd have a hard time convincing all the brand managers to switch to it.
Just thought I see if this had been discussed already.
