after the nec settlement, a previous loss to mot, and endless legal proceedings(more appeals...we lost one of those!)in the future, i think hc and co. stuctured a deal that will work to our advantage in the future. with ericy on the financial ropes, we cut them some slack, gained credibility for us, and proved to wall st. we can at least run with the big dogs. i believe the back end will include a 3g deal, chip deal, and mucho kronas to our bottom line! alternately, we could be looking at the first stages of a merger....didn't we hear that word in the cc?? my prediction is a merger worth 150/sh for idcc...wishful thinking? maybe, but realistic if you think what happened to q's share price. without question we are better off than last week, and all the bellyaching is from pure speculation in my opinion. congratulations to our mgt. for getting a deal ultimately to make $$$ for all! personally, i am a happy long!! chipster
