Dendreon expects Provenge to grow year-over-year in 2013
Dendreon said last night in its earnings call presentation slides that it believes Provenge will grow year-over-year in 2013. The company said that when its restructuring is complete, it believes cost of goods sold will be at less than 50% beginning in Q3. Dendreon expects to run U.S. operations for Provenge at cash flow positive at a net sales level of around $100M per quarter. The company expects a regulatory decision in Europe in mid-2013 and said its research indicates there is a significant need to educate the consumer. Further, Dendreon gas plans to commence enzalutamide sequencing trial as well as an early scanning registry.
