In my view, religion should not be taught as science, nor should religion be taught in public schools.
Totally agree with you, Spring. Religion and science are not compatible - the former relies on faith, mysticism and the supernatural, and the latter on evidence, objectivity and observable phenomena.
And as for teaching religion in public schools - I agree with you, too. There are parochial schools for this job. Besides, in public schools - if one were to teach religion, one would have to give equal time for ALL of them ... and why not, as that's only fair? ... and that would not leave any time for anything else!
