it doesnt matter, its TAXABLE income whether you pay off student loans or credit cards you are still taxed 15% on all earning from stocks. I am not sure if there are any loop holes, but taxable income is taxable income. I think the only form of income you dont pay taxes on is like social security and ssi, stuff like that.
