Paula, you are only paranoid if no one is after you! This has happened to me before with yahoo where some sites were unavailable and some were. I traced it to problems with yahoo servers. They have a huge distributed system worldwide and sometimes a node or two malfunctions. The consumer will find some boards initialized or not depending on geography, browser type, IP provider, proxy server usage and so on. Yahoo is no help, understaffed.

I worked around it. Try changing browsers from explorer, netscape, or whatever. What worked better was jumping thru a series of proxy servers. Some worked, some didn't.

Yahoo has been having server problems widespread the last few days. I seriously doubt that anyone has any interest or has interfered with your account. To test, set up a new account using a variant of your name or an alias which takes 5 minutes and test that one.
