For myself, I think that the timing on the announement is fantastic. I hope that it is a preview of the manner in which the announcements of Ericy settlement and the various rate schedules are made. There will be a small short squeeze on Monday. Shorts keep track of these type of swing events and they will anticipate a run up. For the most part, they are better traders than longs. They really hate it when they get caught with their pants down. They will react.

To steal a comment from a regular poster, management might just be Machiavellian enough to have planned things for that purpose.
