Read my post again and listen to what WM said.

He said "Nokia, since I know it continues to be an important topic on the minds of our shareholders and analysis. As I said before, we remain very confident that we will prevail in this matter. We are preparing for the oral argument in Federal Court in December. We believe that the Federal court will affirm the award and that this action will bring an even higher level of pressure on Nokia. In the end, it is our belief that Nokia will pay us either willingly or by court order"

IDCC is willing to fight all the way to confirm it. Chance to lower it BY IDCC to NOK is NIL. So negotiation to lower it substantially is NONE. IDCC is no longer dealing in weakness at least with ICC win in hand.
