Actually Activision still makes the Cabela's series, Mastiff still makes the Remington Super Slam series( they're horrible by the way) and if you do a search on Amazon you'll see a handful of other small companies that make hunting games, primarily on the Wii, and Nintendo's through making games for that system(their next gen came out). We do have some competition, but there's really not much of it and no one's yet made a hunting MMO to this point either, so that market's wide open.

I'm just hoping the Great Outdoors game is more simulation-like than the badly done arcade shoot em ups that Mastiff is known for. Their Remington Super Slam series is barely better than the original Nintendo Duck Hunt and won't attract any serious hunters or gamers IMO.
