osoesq: Judge Sanders does indeed have a great reputation! With that said I will say this. Having a judge overseeing a case in which he/she may not have a grip on the technological aspects of said case is as much a potential travesty of justice as we saw in the MOT/IDCC trial which was decided by a layman jury with zero knowledge of the tech. and no help from the concept of a Markman Hearing.

Again no disrespect to the Old Poop, but there is a chance that either ERICY or IDCC(or both) didn't think he was up to speed and was just throwing darts which led whoever to ask that he be removed from the case.

If that's what happened, then I would say previous rulings made are subject to review and potential alteration..

Keep in mind, F&J have obviously done a tremendous job researching this case and most likely the MOT case, with the intent not only to provide IDCC with the strongest possible case, but also provide IDCC as fair a trial as possible.
