It is humorous but will allow you to contrast the tethered and autonomous products WSGI offers with manually (tactical manual) flown VTOL multi-rotor Micro Aerial Vehicles. A SBIR just closed for LALE platforms like the Argus that could deploy these lighter and smaller platforms at range. The DoD doesn't view them as competitive with one eliminating the other but as complementary. Their vision for the battlefield of the future is a very complex one--much more like the movie Terminator than I care to think about. As usual, not an either-or but a both-and. Best regards, IJO.
