Update: QT 4.0

Follow the instruction below to update to 4.0.

1. Close QT
2. Click the link in the email
3. Choose Open (or if on Firefox, Save File then double-click file after it downloads)
4. You can try dragging and dropping the file into your QT directory; if that doesn't work, hit Extract at the top, point it to your QT directory, hit Extract again to confirm, and Yes for overwrite (if you aren't prompted to overwrite, it didn't get pointed at the QT directory)
5. Launch QT as you normally would

The news is tagged by the news feeds. Sometimes a company will be tagged because it is related to the article or because it is related to another company in the article. Sometimes, we see that companies are tagged in error, but because we cannot control the articles tagged, we cannot control the news that comes in for each symbol.

I had asked about my penny stocks news having feeds not related to the current penny stock I was viewing. I was using version 3.9.9 on a TDA account. Number 4 above worked for me. I do not know what changes were made. Always be on the safe side and make a backup of your Quotetracker folder first.
