As for Kunter, I just wonder if being at the end of his career, he has gone all-in, and thinks the payoff from SRCH is worth more than the possible damage to his reputation. And, maybe he just enjoys playing with the autoclave equipment, etc. and the big paychecks come in handy.
I have seen other, obviously retired mining folks lend their names to some pretty shaky mining outfits as board members or advisors. Again, maybe its a decision on their part to take the money and write off their reputation. Who am I to judge them if their financial situation requires it? Someday I might be in their shoes.
As you know, I am pretty sure there will never be an ounce of gold produced from that slag pile because it just ain't there! And yes, they're about due for another round of promos and more stock dilution - a lot of mouths to feed!
