Active duty DoD personnel may not appear in photographs that could in any way be construed as endorsing a product. I did not mention the photoshop work on the one pic because conspiracy theorists would have had a field day. They love to distort and take things out of context like this. Army personnel are allowed to be photographed using Army equipment but that would be AFTER a contract was signed. In this case OPSEC might prohibit even that, I am not sure. Knowing WHO bought something or is about to buy something would reveal a coming capability and could start countermeasure development before the asset appeared on the battlefield.

This was not the issue I had in mind when I said that it was my feeling that demo was a positive and not a negative. That was my main point--not that there is a "Where's Waldo" clue in the photos. IMO further analysis on your part would be a good exercise but fruitless I believe to understand my conclusion. This must also be my last comment on the matter. I am sure you will understand.
