Haha. That is just my new scuba mount. Have you seen the 3 Black utube vid?

Take a look at 2:28 in. Im not saying I shot that, but that is what I like to shoot... thus new underwater mount. It was too awkward straped to my wrist with the open helment mount.

As for the MAV, I would KISS (keep it simple stupid) on this project. my first thought is LTA with quad rotor propulsion and smartphone gyro/gps interface. I think they already have aps with off the shelf r/c units. I could rip out those guts and use them. Otherwise it could run preprogram or via bluetooth and hand held directional anntena?

Also the 3 black is wireless enabled (and my 2 has an attachable wireless backpack but it adds weight) for control of the camera at range. Im sure we can find someone that can write a firmware/software patch to enable realtime transmition of at least stills (video may surpass wireless link, not sure of the specs). The wireless remote control has a range of 180m. Im sure we could bump that up.

All of this is just for fun of course. The goal is all off the shelf with the mods to make it mine.
