No, no, just jumbled communication on my part. I moved rapidly from DoD stuff (ISTAR) to law enforcement stuff in the same post. Sloppy communication. Sorry. PGM is exclusively a military functionality with regard to UAS. I tend to think and teach about MAV/tactical UAS as integrated systems and not just vehicles/platforms (my infamous capabilities and not products rant). The data from MAV ISR goes into the command and control functions for crowd control, hostage situations, etc. On December 6 we did an indoor demo that I invited Bday to attend. We had a hostage scenario and had an attending SWAT team member view and process the video feed and make a call. It was frustrating for him to have data of a new type he has not been trained to process before. He was great, however.

The capability of tactical UAS needs to be integrated into law enforcement crowd control scenarios, not just related to crowd observation. Crowd control is accomplished through the use of data from the platform, hence, it is a crowd control capability even though no tear gas drops from the platform, etc. I think I am doing a bad job communicating again. The key point is that professionals speak of UAS (systems) and amateurs only think about UAV's (vehicles). The real experts know that the only valuable product is better decisions. That is ultimately the "product" that WSGI has to sell IMO. Better decisions and better outcomes. Thanks for trying to get me to clear this up, Hogman. With appreciation, IndyJonesOhio.
