Imagine you are Prioria over in Gainesville. Your Maveric platform is sufficiently ruggedized so that the Canadians bought 60 for Afghanistan. When they got back they bought very few spare parts to refurbish after deployment. You cost 1/3 as much and outperform the Raven in every way. But the contracts still keep going to AVINC.
