I'm sure this will show my ignorance on the subject...

If this option is available to be used on computer with/using TPMs, the backup or restore must be able to read/write to the same security level. No ? If A TMP enabled computer is stolen but the backup can be hacked (if it can), the whole TPM feature is moot.

I was excited over the $ 99 price tag thinking back to what SKS said about the repricing excercise with Dell.
