but my point was that they give out dividends yet pay no corporate tax, so the shareholders (which are generally not the poor section of the economy) get richer and the taxes that GE avoids are paid by others, as there is no free lunch... the infrastructure and protection they get is free (to them), courtesy of us taxpayers.
