The Judge has been very candid in how he sees his job, which is to rule on motions put before him. So, anything could happen if an objection was made and supported. In the absence, however, of any committee/patent holder/shareholder/DOE, etc...stakeholder...presenting this to the court for a decision, he will not rule for either of those.
