Think of the Stalking Horse as a bid reserve. Now I was just wondering--why was it set so low? I know it only covered the auto portion. I wonder if that is why Wanxiang made such a tight deal. I wonder why the bid wasn't required to be higher to at least cover the debts. I like the part about Johnson and NEC making a joint bid effort, and they couldn't top 260? --together??
