Have had many of the same thoughts as well in the last few years. I too , fully expected this to pay-off long before now but , it is what it is. The science (and the market that goes with it) wasn't as far along as I thought....'my-bad' , or 'theirs' , I know not....I suppose it goes with the territory in breakthru scientific innovations...I'll know better what to expect next time (if there is one). I can't be sure they have "moved" any product but by the same token , given their need for stealth , I can't be sure they haven't either. Insofar as the development of the QD market is concerned , I can only surmize that , with all the heavy-duty research in this sector is concerned & all the $$ poured into it , the 'market' is fast approaching , if not in progress already. As a 'for-instance' , I see that QDLaser has commercialized their QD productline with a few products that appear feasible & worthwhile.
I can't say for certain we'll make a go of it but , for all the doubt & dismay expressed by disappointing 10Q's & the recurrent grumblings of a few folks , the fact remains that......we're still here...& so is QMC , complete w/ their impressive line-up of renowned 'all-star' brainiacs. Not to mention that , despite all the highs & whoas , QTMM has never dipped below .045 in all these last 3 years+ , says a lot on its' own & all I can really say on a personal note is that...I've still 'got a ticket to ride'.
